Maintaining a clean, healthy environment for our customers and employees is a top priority at all locations of West Plains Bank and Trust Company. At this time, no adjustments in hours or services have been made. We are conducting business as usual. We would, however, like to inform you of the following steps being taken to ramp up efforts in light of recent developments on the health scene:
- In addition to our daily cleaning routine, our employees are disinfecting work stations and high contact surfaces such as door handles multiple times per day.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available in multiple locations at every branch.
- Signage has been placed in all restrooms to remind everyone of proper hand washing procedures and employees are making more frequent trips to wash their hands (especially those who work in high customer contact areas or who regularly handle cash).
- Our employees are being asked not to report to work if they feel unwell, especially if they have a fever. If an employee develops symptoms during the work day, he or she is sent home.
- Our employees have been encouraged to minimize contact, including handshakes. While this is very hard for a bank of friendly, caring bankers, we care more about everyone’s well-being.
