Start a Fraud Case

If you suspect a fraudulent transaction on your debit card and would like to start a fraud case:
  • Call 1-888-987-1457, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (excluding holidays). The phone will be answered "Dispute Processing Center."

Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay

Enjoy all the conveniences of your West Plains Bank and Trust Company debit card when you pay with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay at hundreds of thousands of stores and participating apps. These services use technology referred to as tokenization. The actual card number is never transmitted during the transaction, keeping the card information secure. Get started:
  • Download the app of your choice from your app store.
  • Enroll your card and contact us by phone to activate your card.
  • Begin using your app to make purchases with your card.

Visa Purchase Alerts

  • Know where your money is going - receive SMS texts or email notifications whenever your card is used.
  • Fraud from exposure and associated losses can be reduced by up to 40% just by signing up to receive alerts.
  • Cardholders must sign up at Visa.com/PurchaseAlerts
  • Once signed up, enroll your mobile device and email address for Visa Purchase Alert delivery and select triggers to meet your individual account information needs.
  • Any time a transaction meeting your criteria takes place, you will receive a Visa Purchase Alert in real-time. Alert triggers include: reaching a purchase amount threshold, international transactions and purchases made online or by phone.

  • Your Visa Debit Card will arrive in approximately ten days.
Transaction Disputes & Lost or Stolen Cards
  • Daily withdrawal limits apply for your debit card to ensure your security.
  • Stop payment orders cannot be placed on Visa Debit Card transactions.
  • To dispute the validity of a transaction, contact the Dispute Processing Center as soon as possible at 866-987-1457.
  • To report the loss or theft of your Visa Debit Card during regular business hours, immediately call West Plains Bank and Trust Company at (417) 256-2147. After hours, contact the Card Management Center directly at 800-791-2525. 24/7 FraudWatch PLUS
  • Fraud analysts watch for fraudulent activity on your debit card 24/7.
  • The moment fraud is detected a FraudWatch PLUS representative will attempt to contact you by the phone number(s) you provide to West Plains Bank and Trust Company.
  • If you cannot be reached, when applicable, the analyst will leave a message that indicates he/she is calling on behalf of West Plains Bank and Trust Company, provide the last four digits of your card number and ask for a call back to the toll-free number. It is very important that you call back as soon as possible after receiving this message.
