Telephone Banking

Line One is your 24-Hour, fingertip access line to West Plains Bank and Trust Company. From any telephone, you can access your account balance, verify deposits and withdrawals, transfer funds between accounts and even check interest rates.

Access your account

To access your account, use the last four digits of the primary account holder's Social Security number (Personal Identification Number, or PIN). To change your PIN to any four-digit number, press main menu option number 6 and follow the prompts. For your security, be sure to pick a four-digit number that's easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess. Keep your PIN in a safe place for added security.

Transfer Funds

Day or night, Line One can transfer funds between your accounts. Whether you want to bump up the balance of your checking account from your savings account, or transfer cash to make a loan payment, funds will be moved and available immediately. For your protection, please remember that transfers can only be made between accounts with the same primary account holder.

  • Pay your bills in a breeze. Once you enter account information for each of your payees (for example: utility or telephone company, pharmacy, etc.) you can pay bills in seconds.
  • Make recurring payments like rent, car or mortgage payments easily. Once you set up the schedule (up to a year in advance), you're done - the bill is paid each month, on the day you specify.

Visa Debit Card

Applying for a Visa Debit Card is simple and fast. Next time you stop by any of West Plains Bank and Trust Company's convenient locations, take an extra few minutes to fill out a debit card application. Your Visa Debit Card will arrive in approximately ten days. As always, your security is our utmost concern. You will be assigned a personal identification number (PIN), which will be sent to you in a separate mailing, and for your convenience, you can reset your PIN to a number you choose. Also for your security, Visa Debit Card users must first activate their card at one of our conveniently locate ATMs, or call the toll free number on your new card to activate it. Once you have your PIN, you're ready to begin enjoying the convenience and practicality of your new Visa Debit Card.

No more searching for your checkbook. With the Visa Debit Card, your checking account is a little easier to manage. The debit card can be presented to a merchant just like a credit card, saving you the time of writing a check and printing costs. You'll never have to worry about cashing a check out of town or out of the country again because the Visa Debit Card is accepted at all the Money Pass ATM locations.

You will receive a statement each month that will include the date, location and amount of every transaction you've made, along with every check you have written. The Visa Debit Card performs all the functions of an ATM card, and accessing cash is easy, convenient and safe.

In order to maintain security, there are limits to the amount of money you can withdraw form your checking account using your debit card. Stop payment orders cannot be placed on Visa Debit Card transactions. If the validity of a transaction is disputed, you must contact West Plains Bank and Trust Company as soon as possible at (417) 256-2147. In the event of lost or theft of your Visa Debit Card, you must report it immediately to protect your account. During regular business hours, call West Plains Bank and Trust Company at (417) 256-2147. After hours, you should contact the Card Management Center directly at (800) 264-5578 to report the card lost or stolen.
